Meet novelist Nyani Nkrumah, author of Wade in the Water, on her book tour through Mississippi — starting right here in Columbus! Join us on Monday, September 11, at 5:30 pm at Friendly City Books.

Students will receive a free copy of her book while supplies last. We are thrilled to be joined by moderator Lauren Rhoades, a graduate of MUW’s MFA in creative writing.

Nyani and Lauren will continue on to visit Square Books in Oxford on Tuesday the 12th, Story Books in Cleveland on Wednesday the 13th, Lemuria Books in Jackson on Thursday the 14th, and Pass Books in Pass Christian on Saturday the 16th.
