We are so excited to have SIGNED copies of the Bitter Southerner’s new coffee table book Thank You Please Come Again: How Gas Stations Feed & Fuel the American South — especially because creator Kate Medley is a fellow alumna of the Mississippi School of Math and Science here in Columbus!

Kate is a photojournalist who has covered current events in the South for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and many more national publications. Her book includes nearly 200 stunning full-color photographs of people, places, and food from North Carolina to New Orleans. Mississippi is well represented from the Delta to Jackson — and yes, Oxford people, the chicken on a stick place is in it. :)

This book also includes a special introduction by none other than Kiese Laymon, one of Mississippi’s most important voices writing today.
