Stella Shouting Contest April 6

Join us in Downtown Columbus for an afternoon of spirited fun at the Stella Shouting Contest, held in honor of the great Tennessee Williams, who was born right here in Columbus. This event celebrates the iconic scene from A Streetcar Named Desire and invites participants to channel their best Stanley or Stella.

The festivities kick off at 3:30 PM with live music to enjoy with friends and family.

As the clock strikes 5, get ready to channel your inner Marlon Brando or Vivien Leigh and join us for the most anticipated shouting match of the year. It’s not just a contest; it’s a tribute to Tennessee Williams, born right here in Columbus, where every shout echoes the rich literary legacy of our town.

Whether you’re stepping up as a contender or cheering from the sidelines, it’s an afternoon of fun, music, and literary homage you won’t want to miss.
